One of the most common questions I get is how did I get my online alias and is it Japanese. It is not Japanese, it's a nickname I got when I was in 8th grade from my best friend. It would take me forever to get ready to go anywhere in those days so she would call me Pokey. There were also times when I would wear my hair in braided pigtails and overalls and more than one person said I looked like Heidi so we just put the two nicknames together, changed the spelling, and got the name Pokahydee.

I just started at a new college in October 2006 with a multimedia major. I adore this major, it's a lot of fun and I'm really good at it so far. In my major, we do everything from websites, animation, audio/video, graphic work, and some print work. I've really come to like 3D modeling (we haven't gotten to animation yet). It's a bit tricky to get used to the program, but you can make some really neat stuff.

I'm also a big anime-geek (which my boyfriend makes fun of me for). Some of my favorite series at this time are Naruto and Bleach. I also really enjoy the series called Nana.
